Many Guitar Journey students are children. We may therefore hold information relating to a child where it is necessary to provide guitar lessons and manage their participation.

Payments may be processed using third-party payment providers.

Guitar Journey does not need to store your full payment card details in order to provide lessons. Payment providers may process payment information in accordance with their own security and privacy requirements.

We may retain transaction information such as the amount paid, payment status, date and relevant customer details for administration, accounting and legal purposes.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate legal protections and safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing our services, maintaining appropriate business records and meeting legal, tax and accounting requirements.

Different types of information may therefore be kept for different periods.

When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it where appropriate.
